Decision Making Process
We talk about decision-making process, communications process, production process, process control, etc.. But how can you define what process and what is its importance in the study and administrative practice? Can be understood in various ways, some of them:
A seguência stage of work, a series of activities intended to produce something of value;
A series of activities that takes into consideration environmental information and resources to produce something that has value as a result for the client;
A seguência logical steps of development and implementation of a project, a set of logical and sequential activities.
Whatever the term used, the definition of process is related to:
Organization of work to achieve a result;
Different steps and coordination of people;
Identification of the most important steps and procedures for the organization and to customers.
Its importance in the study and practice organizational and management is essential to win and avoid wasted time, material and personal energies. The concept of process has great resemblance to the system. The most striking difference is that the process is operating, is concrete while the system is conceptual. System prevails in the spirit of cooperation, teamwork, and the process is organizational. Its design is understandable and concrete.
